The Signal Reach TP-200 Portable Dual-Band PCS & Cellular Amplifier provides amplification of transmit and receive signals for improved cellular communications. Designed for use with cellular tri-mode, dual band telephones, the signal amplifier reduces problems with signal fades and dropped calls while improving voice quality, service range and access.
The signal amplifier enhances performance of cradle-mounted cellular telephones, resulting in wider coverage, less signal fading in buildings in urban environments, and increased coverage when used in rural areas. The amplifier is designed to operate on TDMA, CDMA and GSM mode signals from virtually all cellular service providers in North America using the 824 to 894 MHz and 1850 to 1990 MHz (PCS) cellular bands. Signal amplifiers are designed to enhance coverage in areas where signal strength is affected by terrain, building or other interference. They are compatible with normal cellular network operations, and boost signal strength along the periphery of the network. The amplifier is designed to work with a variety of cradles and hands-free systems.
This cellular signal amplifier is a network-compatible device that ensures proper power levels in the transmit (uplink) path, enhancing the cellular telephone users experience without compromising cellular network inter-operability requirements. Further, the signal amplification provided by the amplifier receive circuitry is appropriately optimized for network operation. This Dual Band Cellular Amplifier can be used with any cellular telephone, provided the user has a suitable cradle with an RF output or an RF connecting cable.
This FCC-approved signal booster greatly improves sound quality, while reducing the amount of dropped calls. The bi-directional signal booster provides 15dB gain to the incoming signal and 3 watts of output power. The booster provides wider coverage, lessening signal fade in fringe areas. Installs between the phone's antenna adapter and an external antenna with TNC connectors. Use with 3dB antenna.
