Connect your Bluetooth-enabled Palm M500 using USB Bluetooth adapter Motorola 98216h connected to USB port of your desktop or notebook computer and connect both to synchronize the data in your Palm M500 PDA, transfer Palm M500 files to computer or vice versa, send Palm M500 or computer files to printers or fax servers, use a blue-tooth enabled wireless mouse, keyboard, or telephone headset, or even use your computer as a link to the Internet, all without cables.
Up to 7 Bluetooth 1.1 compatible devices (they need not be Palm M500 PDA's) can connect to this Palm M500 USB Bluetooth Adapter simultaneously, creating your own "Personal Area Network". The Palm M500 Adapter is a long-range device (upto 100M), and is powered directly from the USB port, so there's no need for an external power supply. To keep your Palm M500 data secure, Bluetooth wireless technology uses 128-bit encryption and a "frequency hopping" scheme that is almost impossible to intercept. This Palm M500 USB Dongle for only Bluetooth enabled Palm M500 PDAs also supports all other Bluetooth devices capable of Bluetooth data transmission so your Palm M500 can wirelessly access another Bluetooth device located within upto 100 meters.
