Recommended Andrew external antenna placement on vehicles: On a four door auto, mount the antenna on a rear side window and, on a two door automobile, mount the antenna on the front passenger side window. These mounting locations will ensure the best performance results. For drivers and passengers safety, select a position on the window which will not inhibit vision or movement. Installation of Andrew external automotive antenna is easy: First, roll down the window. Then slip the one-piece clip assembly over the top edge of your minivan, truck, suv or car window with the antenna mast positioned outside the car, truck, suv, van or minivan. Make sure that the clip is pushed down all the way on the window and then completely roll the window back up using automated window button or manual window lever.
